Rehabilitation of Dahr El-Bashik Governmental Hospital
The complex consists of 16 Blocks, the major ones of which are :
- Main Hospital
- Administration
- Medical Library
- Staff Accommodation
- Operations Theater
The design concept of the project was to utilize the existing hospital building together with the administrative block, the operation theaters block and the staff accommodation block by adding up connecting links, such as flying bridges, staircases & pedestrian passages, to enable adequate housing of the required sections & departments of the hospital.
The overall result was a perfectly operable and functional hospital with the best working spaces, functions and medical equipment. All fire safety and precaution measures and regulations were taken into consideration in the design and construction of the hospital.
The hospital is surrounded with a natural Pine tree forest which adds up to its healthy & relaxing environment.
